Off The Field - The Beach Boys (Football Stars Final Days On Vac)

From L.A to Ibiza the football rich and famous spread themselves all over the globe, once they get the chance to escape. Whether it be a holiday with the boys or romantic trip with their WAG's, you'll see countless tweet-pics and instagram post of their luxurious escapes.

Some like to keep their trips silent but others love to show it off, at the end of the day who can blame them. These are professional athletes! - working hard everyday, they deserve some R&R. They earn mega cash, so why not spend it on what they like. Unfortunately for these guys, off-season vac doesn't last that long...before you know it! its over. We decided to check up on the famous footballers and see how they enjoying their last few moment of rest/partying!.

Here we see Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo (AKA #1 Beach Boy) enjoying some time with his family and friends, Ronaldo although very in love with his girlfriend Irina, likes to enjoy some time with the boys.

It was reported earlier in the off season break, CR7 was spotted leaving a night club in Portugal at 7AM in the morning. (Talk about going HAM)

Over on the right we see CR7 with his girlfriend, currently enjoying their time together in New York - New York. When you have the finances to back you, why not globe-trot, we know the two are very much 'in love' so its lovely to see them together.

As we flip back a week or two, the pair were seen together on a European beach, chilling on a yacht and swimming in the sea.

''Gold bottlesscold modelsspillin' Ace on my sick J's''

Considering these boys cannot touch alcohol during the season, as soon as off season comes about the madness begins (Drank..Drank).

Danny Welbeck and Demba Ba taunting their team-mates saying, ''Let's see if you got better?!''

The bigger the bottle the bigger the fun, that's the rule with some of the guys. Vegas is a place where many footballers like to enjoy their vacations, the place is a heave for football-money. You never know who you might bump into in the states too...

Here we see Spurs #9 Adebayor with Trey Songz

Some lads like to enjoy a game of basketball, here we see another Spurs' player in the States. Enjoying the crazy game that was game 6, Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs. (Lucky Man)

The older they get the wiser they become, here we see veteran Rio Ferdidnand who planned his trip with the 'lads' early in the off season. Now the Man United #5 is doing his off the field promoting and business work much like another Englishmen.

The king of cool Mr. David Beckham has been there and seen it all with his vacations, now enjoying retirement he has taken a trip to China to do some work. The famous Englishman also had time to catch some of the B-Ball action in his hotel.

We now flip to some of the family men or ''hopeless romantics''

Oh behave you lot!

As much as we love to see that love is in the air, a little too much does make the stomach turn. Here we see a few football stars, smooching, holding hands and tanning with their lovely WAG's. (Awwww)

Sergio Ramos & Mario Balotelli

Sometimes players can get in trouble for their off the field antics, pictures of players smoking and misbehaving usually lands them in trouble when preseason training starts.

If there is a 'Beach Boy' of the off season there is a 'Bad Boy' of the off season vaction, that title has to go to Super Mario. Its safe to say that the Milan manager is happy Mario is at the CONFED Cup with Italy, rather than doing this...

These boys love the beach, summer is the time to unwind and soak up some much needed rays of sun. Their holidays look oh so lavish, if you work hard enough you can enjoy the benefits. With a few more days/weeks left of their off season vacation these footballers are going to make sure it was worth it. Preseason training is the worst word used in the football vocabulary, that time is coming fast so...enjoy lads.

Work Hard - Play Hard

Confederations Cup 2013 Rio - Joga Bonito

As it was for South Africa prior to the World Cup in 2010, the CONFED Cup begins today in Brazil. All eyes are now on Rio, the nation that is Brazil face up to the world but most importantly their people. As far back as I can remember Brazil have always been known for one thing, 'Beautiful Football'. They produce player after player, they all have a special kind of flair. Brazil are the most dominant team in international football history, 5 World Cups to their name. Unfortunately for the selecao fans, they have not won a world cup since 2002. Many managers have come and gone since then, but ironically they have employed a familiar face in 'Big Phil Scolari'.

Brazil were able to win the last CONFED Cup in South Africa, beating the USA in Johannesburg. 4 years down the road and they are looking to keep the trophy at home.

The expectations when playing for Brazil are unlike any other team in international football...perhaps world football. The fans always expect the best, not only to win but to win the right way.

The younger generation of Brazil superstars now have to take over, the likes of Oscar, David Luiz and Neymar have to prove to the fans that they are world beaters. In Brazil no excuses can be made when competing on foreign ground, now on home soil you can imagine the expectation. The kings of the beautiful game have some-what been dethroned in recent time by the Spanish, this year's competition gives Brazil the opportunity to prove that they are ready to take back their crown.

Big upsets are always possible, the USA were seen as underdogs yet found themselves in the final. The opening fixture between Brazil and Japan will not be an easy win, Japan will want to make a good impression. We all know that CONFED form doesn't always mean you'll be a favorite for The World Cup , but momentum and familiarity is key. All teams enter this competition knowing that they can win it, but Brazil are expected to win it in their own way. Perhaps in modern day football we cannot expect Brazil to be like they were, all teams have improved the gaps between sides is closing each year. Spain will experience this too, its vital to keep building for the future and ensure no slip ups take place.

Hope you all enjoy the fantastic football on display, I'm not exactly sure what to expect results wise but the vibe will be insane. We are on the road to the world cup and it feels fantastic, the torch has been passed to our brothers and sisters in Brazil. Good luck! Ke nako!
